Photograph derived from four slides without any manipulation. Print on silk 70x100cm. 1992
With my "quadrigraphies" I proposed to get out of the schemes of classic photography, to arrive at the conceptual, in the simplest way possible, using four shots born to live together: the single image does not live and has no meaning, if not in relation to the other three. The scenarios are the urban ones, under everyone's eyes, but seen and used to create, with imagination, unique works, because those four images are at the same time. Each of my Pictures is born from an overall vision of the details in order to put them in relation to each other, and discover "the hidden order of things", a new and personal key to reading the everyday world that surrounds us.
The message is also this: you can be a resident photographer, not moving from your city, and still create unique works of photographic art, worthy of the name, obtained without any manipulation of reality in front of everyone's eyes.
