Photograph derived from four original slides without any manipulation. Print on silk 50x70cm. 1984
With my "quadrigraphies" I proposed to get out of the schemes of classical photography, to arrive at the conceptual, in the simplest possible way, using four shots born to live together: the single image does not live and has no meaning, except in relation to the other three. The scenarios are the urban ones, under the eyes of everyone, but seen and used to create, with imagination, unique works, because those four images are at the same time. Each of my Quadrigrafia is born from an overall vision of the details to put them in relation to each other, and discover "the hidden order of things", a new and personal key to reading the everyday world around us. Thus a supermarket becomes a pretext for an architectural decomposition.
you can be permanent photographers, not move from your city, and create the same unique photographic works of art, worthy of the name, obtained without any manipulation of reality in front of everyone's eyes.Â
