About artist
Elena Borboni was born in Ome (Bs - Italy) in the hills of Franciacorta and then moved to Brescia. She attended art studies and founded her own painting school, where she taught for years. The focus of Elena's painting is 'Journey to the centre of life', a recurring theme in her exhibitions. She studies and imprints on the canvas the fascinating miracle of the birth of life and its evolution, which for her becomes a mysterious and adrenaline-filled journey, a story in a cosmic, universal sense, in communion with nature. The artist amazes us with her exclusiveness, letting us participate in her inner world with an unusual, fascinating painting that uses figurative art in an allegorical and symbolic, ancestral key. She perceives love and harmony vibrating in the air, so she captures strong and deep messages of procreation, light, energy, beauty and feels gratitude to be on the stage of life and to be able to walk its path. These deep emotions are the source of her art and make her paintings dance with the vibration of light and the colours of the iris, in a kaleidoscope of poetry. Her favourite subjects are: The Rose (whose meaning is maternity) The Dandelion or Dandelion (it is white, round and pure and spreads life), Trees (with their sap they give us our existence and demonstrate the primal law of life) and the Spiral (archetypes of our existence).
