100x260 Acrylic on canvas. 2019 SERIES INTERDIMENSIONAL PASSAGES
The composition is unsettling at first glance, since the canvas is crossed by decisive geometric stylistic features, with a strong impact of color, which, even if the stripes are oblique, make one imagine the rejection of Mondrian's figurativeness, but on the lower edge or laterally appears, small, perfectly depicted, a historical comic book character, like DUCK, with an elusive attitude. Where does Donald Duck come from? From which of the many unknown worlds beyond our universe? Who called him back? Perhaps he no longer likes this little world of ours, full of the usual pettiness and arrogance...
"Personally, I have the desire to make those who observe me perceive the fatigue of "searching" meticulously to get to the goal, but also to accompany them in paths of reflection, ironic and sometimes impertinent. I love to transform modularity into a rule with a meticulous brushstroke and study color combinations, all at night, a precious moment and silent container of ideas, colors, inspirations".
