The composition is unsettling at first glance, since the canvas is crossed by decisive geometric stylistic features, with a strong impact of color, which, even if the stripes are oblique, make you imagine the rejection of Mondrian's figurativeness, but on the lower edge or laterally appears, small, perfectly depicted, a historical character of the comics, like Donald Duck disconsolate, with an elusive attitude. Where does Donald Duck come from? From which of the many unknown worlds beyond our universe? Who called him back? Maybe he doesn't like this little world of ours anymore, full of the usual pettiness and arrogance that we selfishly force him to live, forced in a comic book story, in our world that was beautiful but that every day we contribute to make worse.
