"Medusa" is a double-sided mirror with 4 sections, each rotating on its own vertical axis.
On one side of each section is a porcelain and glazed ceramic plate, painted with metallic colors, reliefs, bright gold and pure gold, depicting part of the head of the mythological character.
On the opposite side of each section is a mirror, which strongly recalls the myth of Medusa; one of the three Gorgons, with the power to petrify anyone who had crossed their gaze; of the three, the only one not to be immortal, and who was decapitated by Perseus who controlled her movements through the image reflected in the inner, shiny part of her shield.
The four double-sided sections are mounted in a frame of solid natural oak with external dimensions 53xH42 cm. The whole picture, in turn, is enclosed "sandwich-like" in a support complete with base made of cut and carved corten steel plate (frame's Greek) with pressurized water, according to an original design.
